The Step Assistant 2.0 Handles are made from 6061 Aluminum Tubing.  The Step Assistant 2.0 Base is made from 1/8 thick mild hot rolled steel spec ASTM A-1011 CS Type B.  All joints are mig welded.  The Mounting Hardware included is all stainless steel so make sure to have Anti Seize available.  The Step Assistant 2.0 Handle length is right under 40 inches long and removable (if removable option was purchased) while towing.  When the Step Assistant 2.0 Handle is mounted to the factory supplied top step it will fit inside a standard seven foot garage door even if not removed.  The Step Assistant Handles 2.0 are UV powder coated.
