The Step Assistant Handles are made from 0.90 wall round mild tubing.  The Step Assistant Base is made from 1/8 thick mild hot rolled steel spec ASTM A-1011 CS Type B. All joints are mig welded.  The mounting hardware included is all stainless steel.  The Step Assistant Handle length is 40 inches long.  When the Step Assistant Handle is mounted to the factory supplied top step it will fit inside a standard seven foot garage door.  The Step Assistant Handle is UV powder coated.

​The Perch and Mounting Bar are made from a 10" x 12" x 1/4" sheet of 6061 Aluminum.  The mounting hardware included is all stainless steel.  When the Perch is mounted to trolling motor it does not affect use of boat cover.  The Perch is UV powder coated.

Mounting Instructions For Skeeter Models

         -All Stainless Steel Mounting Hardware Included - 

Tools Required:  Drill, 3/8 Drill Bit, 7/32 Hex Wrench, and 9/16 Wrench, Permatex Anti Seize.
 
Step #1)  Place base over top step and slide as far left as possible AWAY from boat.  
Step #2) Mark four drill points.  
Step #3) Drill mounting holes.  
Step #4) Choose one piece of included grip tape and adhere to base.  
Step #5) Mount base by affixing ONE screw (with anti seize), washer and nut per hole through the grip tape on base NEAREST BOAT.  Careful to not over tighten.  
Step #6) Mount handle by affixing one screw (with anti seize), washer and nut per hole on handle.  Careful to not over tighten.  
Step #7) Affix final TWO screws (with anti seize), washers, and nuts to last two holes NEAREST HANDLE.  Careful to not over tighten.
                                       
                         *WARNING*

​Bass Boat Concepts is NOT responsible for galling and or seizing of nyloc lock nuts and bolts if Permatex Anti Seize was not used as required.

​NOTE – Make sure to tighten all bolts prior to each use as normal road driving conditions can loosen bolts.

The Seller, Bass Boat Concepts, of Temecula California is not responsible for any loss of warranty coverage by the manufacturer of the Purchaser's trolling motor or other boat related hardware that is altered by Purchaser in the course of 
using and/or installing the Perch. Furthermore Seller is NOT responsible for physical damage or bodily injury resulting from the alteration and/or weakening of the Purchaser's trolling motor or other boat related hardware as a consequence of the use or installation of the Perch.​


​Waiver of Physical Injury

The Seller acknowledges that the Perch is intended to be installed on a watercraft and to be used while such is in or moving through bodies of water. Standing on, stepping onto and off of the Perch is an inherently risky activity and Purchaser assumes all liability for all physical injury of any type that results from such activity.  Purchaser further acknowledges that Purchaser has fully reviewed the Perch, and gathered all information from Seller that Purchaser needs in order to make an informed decision to purchase the Perch.
